In the second games of the SuperLega Credem Banca playoffs Semifinals Allianz Milano triumph over Cucine Lube Civitanova in a thrilling tiebreak to level the series, while Itas Trentino secured a 2-0 lead by defeating Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza in four sets.

In front of a packed crowd of 5,296 spectators, Allianz Milano managed to level the series against Cucine Lube Civitanova, triumphing 3-2 (25-18, 20-25, 25-21, 21-25, 15-9) in an impressive performance. Led by coach Roberto Piazza, Milano showcased their determination and skill, excelling in serving, attacking, and regaining their strength during breaks. Notably, they capitalized on nine blocks, with Piano and Loser contributing six. Despite Patry’s 19 points, the MVP award went to Yuki Ishikawa, who had 20 winning spikes, one ace, and one block. Paolo Porro’s excellent performance as a setter, along with Mergarejo and Loser’s double-digit contributions, also boosted the team. On the other hand, Chinenyeze, Zaytsev, Nikolov, and Yant reached double digits in scoring for Cucine Lube Civitanova.

Meanwhile, Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza faced a tough challenge in the SuperLega Semifinal Playoffs, losing 3-1 to Itas Trentino and putting them down 2-0 in the series. Piacenza’s poor serve performance, with 27 errors in four sets and only two aces scored, proved to be the decisive factor. Riccardo Sbertoli (Itas Trentino) was awarded the MVP in front of a crowd of 3,430 spectators, and Itas Trentino will have their first match point in Trento on Wednesday to reach the final.
