Despite their recent CEV Cup triumph, Coach Barbolini’s team showed no signs of complacency, demonstrating their character and determination. Zhu Ting was named the MVP of the match, having scored 16 points, while Mingardi contributed 12. Washington-Beliën also played a crucial role, scoring a combined 19 points, including 8 at the block. Bergamo’s Lanier was the top scorer for her team with 11 points.
In the second Quarterfinals match, Vero Volley Milano defeated Trasportipesanti Casalmaggiore 3-2 in a thrilling and intense game.
