In the 13th round of Poland’s PlusLiga two matches were played today. Asseco Resovia triumphed over KGHM Cuprum Lubin in a 3-1 victory, while Projekt Warszawa dominated PSG Stal Nysa in a clean 3-0 sweep.
Asseco Resovia defeated KGHM Cuprum Lubin with set scores of 27-25, 25-17, 16-25, and 25-22. The match was marked by intense competition, especially in the first set that ended in a narrow victory for Resovia. The standout players for Asseco Resovia included Stephen Boyer, who not only scored a remarkable 23 points but also earned the MVP title, supported by Jakub Kochanowski and Karol Kłos with 14 and 11 points respectively. KGHM Cuprum’s top scorers were Jake Hanes (20 points), and Kamil Kwasowski (12).
In another match, Projekt Warszawa displayed dominance over PSG Stal Nysa with straight sets of 25-19, 25-15, and 25-22. Projekt Warszawa’s victory was fueled by Bartłomiej Bołądź, who scored 21 points and was named as MVP of the game. Artur Szalpuk contributed 13 points to the win. PSG Stal’s top scorer was Remigiusz Kapica with 10 points.
