POL M: Three Dominant Victories in Today’s PlusLiga Matches

All three matches played today in the Polish PlusLiga ended in three sets, with victories going to the Asseco Resovia Rzeszów, Projekt Warszawa, and Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie.

In a highly anticipated clash, Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle faced Asseco Resovia Rzeszów. Despite both teams dealing with severely depleted lineups, it was Asseco Resovia that emerged victorious with a convincing 3-0 win. Top scorers included Bartłomiej Kluth (ZAKSA) with 14 points and Stephen Boyer (Asseco Resovia) with 20 points. Karol Kłos earned the MVP title with an impressive 86% attack efficiency.

Projekt Warszawa delivered a dominant performance, defeating KGHM Cuprum Lubin 3-0. In each set Warszawa controlled the court, leaving their opponents struggling to compete. Artur Szalpuk led the scoring charts with 15 points, closely followed by Bartłomiej Bołądź, who contributed 14 points for Projekt Warszawa. Meanwhile, Adam Lorenc stood out as the top performer for Cuprum Lubin with 13 points scored.

Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie secured a 3-0 victory against Enea Czarni Radom in the 20th round of PlusLiga. Despite their best efforts, the last-placed team from Radom couldn’t overcome the favorites.  Karol Butryn (Aluron CMC Warta) led the scoring with 18 points, supported by Patryk Łaba with 11 points. Nikola Meljanac (Enea Czarni) contributed 10 points. Karol Butryn was named the MVP with an impressive 70% attack efficiency and 2 blocks.
