In the final round of the PlusLiga’s regular season, GKS Katowice secured a 3-1 victory against Bogdanka LUK Lublin, concluding the 30th matchday with high spirits.

The match, which ended with sets of 25-23, 25-21, 19-25, and 26-24, showcased top performances from Damian Domagała with 23 points, followed by Marcin Waliński and Łukasz Usowicz from GKS, contributing 14 and 11 points, respectively. Tobias Brand and Damian Schulz were the leading scorers for Bogdanka LUK, tallying 18 and 13 points. Damian Domagała, also the match’s Most Valuable Player, scored 23 points, achieving a 53% attack efficiency and securing 4 aces.

In another match of the day, Enea Czarni Radom faced KGHM Cuprum Lubin, resulting in a 1-3 loss for Radom. Despite their previous relegation, the match remained engaging, with Radom taking the first set but eventually losing momentum to their opponents. Bartosz Gomułka led the scoring for Czarni with 22 points, whereas Jake Hanes stood out for Cuprum with 18 points. Kajetan Kubicki was awarded MVP.

The conclusion of the regular season sets the stage for the PlusLiga 2024 quarterfinals, with matchups including Jastrzębski Węgiel vs. Indykpol AZS Olsztyn, Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie vs. PSG Stal Nysa, Projekt Warszawa vs. Bogdanka LUK Lublin, and Asseco Resovia vs. Trefl Gdańsk. The first matches are scheduled for April 10th and 11th, with the return legs to follow on the weekend of April 13th–14th, promising an exciting playoff round ahead.
