In a final of the Bogdanka Volley Cup, Sir Susa Vim Perugia emerged victorious against Jastrzębski Węgiel, winning 3-1 (25-19, 25-23, 20-25, 25-21). The Italian side showcased superior efficiency, securing their title in the prestigious volleyball tournament held at the Globus Hall in Lublin. Despite a commendable performance by Jastrzębski Węgiel, particularly in blocking (10-8), they couldn’t outmatch Perugia’s overall gameplay.
Key players from the final included Perugia’s Wassim Ben Tara, who led with 16 points, alongside Agustin Loser and Kamil Semeniuk, each contributing 12 points. On the Jastrzębski side, Łukasz Kaczmarek and Anton Brehme both scored 16 points, with Tomasz Fornal adding 15 to the tally.
Earlier, in the battle for third place, Bogdanka LUK Lublin secured a 3-0 win over Asseco Resovia Rzeszów (25-14, 25-21, 29-27), clinching the bronze medal in the tournament.
