The 19th round of PlusLiga brought victories for Bogdanka LUK Lublin, Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie, and Indykpol AZS Olsztyn in Saturday’s clashes.
Bogdanka LUK Lublin pulled off an incredible comeback against PGE GiEK Skra Bełchatów. After losing the first two sets, Lublin roared back to win 3-2, led by MVP Wilfredo Leon with 27 points and six aces. Amin Esmaeilnezhad’s standout 28-point performance for Skra wasn’t enough to stop Lublin’s charge.
Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie displayed confident performance against GKS Katowice. Despite dropping the first set, the “Jurassic Knights” dominated the next three to secure a solid 3-1 victory, maintaining their strong form.
Indykpol AZS Olsztyn capped the round with a important 3-0 win over Nowak-Mosty MKS Będzin. This marked Olsztyn’s eighth win of the season, moving them up the standings, while MKS remains in the relegation zone, seeking to reverse their fortunes.
