Poland’s volleyball team suffered a straight-set defeat to Brazil (0–3) on the second day of the Hubert Jerzy Wagner Memorial in Kraków. Coach Nikola Grbić opted for a rotated lineup compared to Friday’s win over Serbia, but the hosts struggled to find rhythm against a much-improved Brazilian side.
Artur Szalpuk led Poland with 13 points, while Darlan Souza (19) and Arthur (14) powered Brazil’s attack. The Canarinhos dominated offensively and celebrated their first victory of the tournament after a disappointing 0–3 loss to Argentina in the opener.
Poland, who had swept Serbia in their first match will face Argentina to close the event. Meanwhile, Brazil will take on Serbia before both teams prepare for the upcoming World Championship.
In the other Saturday clash, Argentina defeated Serbia 3–0, marking their second straight win.
