In the 8th round of the Tauron Liga, DevelopRes Rzeszów rallied from a slow start to defeat Sokół & Hagric Mogilno 3–1.
The match began with a surprise as the Polish champions lost the first set 16–25. DevelopRes quickly recovered, however, dominating the next three sets; 25–14, 26–24, and 25–16; to secure the win.
Taylor Bannister led the hosts with 26 points, supported by Dominika Pierzchała (13) and Julita Piasecka (11). For Sokół, Maria Tsitsigianni and Wiktoria Kowalska each scored 14 points, while Kinga Stronias added 10.
DevelopRes proved stronger in attack and serve, finishing with a 10–3 advantage in aces and 12–8 in blocks. Bannister, who hit 21/37 (56%) efficiency in attack and added four aces and a block, was named MVP of the match.
