PGE Projekt Warszawa returned to winning form with a 3–1 victory over JSW Jastrzębski Węgiel claiming a valuable result in Round 16 of the PlusLiga and moving into first place in the standings.
After conceding the opening set, the Warsaw side responded with greater control and confidence. The next two sets were closely contested, with both teams trading points in long rallies, before Projekt pulled clear in the fourth to close out the match.
The win was an important step forward for Projekt following their recent Polish Cup setback. The team showed resilience and calm under pressure, securing all three points against one of the league’s strongest opponents. Bartosz Bednorz led the way with 24 points and was named Most Valuable Player.
