ŁKS Commercecon Łódź defeated EcoHarpoon Nowel LOS Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki 3–2 in a dramatic 15th-round Tauron Liga match, but the evening also marked a milestone for the visitors, who earned their first-ever point at the top level of Polish women’s volleyball.
The newcomers impressed throughout the contest and twice took the lead, pushing the favorites into a deciding tie-break. LOS even opened up a clear advantage in the final set, but ŁKS kept their nerve late on to seal the win.
Regiane Bidias led the hosts with 21 points and was named MVP after another strong all-round display. Despite the narrow defeat, LOS can take confidence from a performance that showed they belong among the league’s elite.
