POL M: Cuprum Stilon Gorzów Stun PGE Projekt Warszawa in Straight Sets

In a surprising finish to Round 22 of the PlusLiga season, Cuprum Stilon Gorzów delivered one of the biggest upsets of the campaign, defeating PGE Projekt Warszawa 3–0 on the road. The visitors, battling to avoid relegation, produced their most complete performance of the season to overpower one of the league’s top sides.

He was well supported by Chizoba Neves, who contributed 19 points, and Kamil Kwasowski with 11. On the Warsaw side, Kevin Tillie led the scoring with 13 points, while Linus Weber added 10.

For Cuprum Stilon Gorzów, the victory is a vital boost in their fight for survival in Poland’s top volleyball division. For PGE Projekt Warszawa, the defeat marks a setback in their pursuit of the league’s leading positions as the regular season approaches its decisive stages.
