ŁKS Commercecon Łódź defeated UNI Opole 3-1 on Thursday in a rescheduled match from the 12th round of the Tauron Liga, recording its 12th victory of the season.

After dropping a closely contested opening set 30-28, the Łódź side responded with strong play to win the next three sets 25-15, 25-21 and 27-25, completing the comeback on home court.
The result moves ŁKS Commercecon Łódź into fifth place in the league standings, while UNI Opole remains third despite the defeat.
Regiane Bidias led ŁKS with 25 points and was named the match’s Most Valuable Player. She finished with 24 successful attacks from 55 attempts for 44% efficiency, added one service ace and recorded 68% positive reception.
Anna Obiała contributed 16 points, Mariana Brambilla scored 13, Sonia Stefanik added 12 and Weronika Centka-Tietianiec finished with 11.
For UNI Opole, Hanna Hellvig led the team with 18 points, while Katarzyna Zaroślińska-Król added 17 and Elan McCall scored 10.
ŁKS proved more effective in attack and also led in blocks (11-9). UNI Opole recorded more service aces (7-4) but committed more errors overall, finishing with 26 compared with 21 by the hosts.
