Poland captain Michal Winiarski:
“We are very happy with the victory and we are still in the game for the Final Six. Now we are waiting for the Italians, hoping they will take at least one point from Brazil. We played really well in service. I’m glad that the team recovered and won two matches, which gives us the chance to qualify to the Final Six. It would be great to go to Florence and play against currently the best teams. On one hand, this would be a great test for us, but on the other hand we would have more time to rest and train, so it would not be that bad not to qualify.”
Iran captain Mir Saeid Marouflakrani:
“We had a lot of problems in reception, our numbers in side-out are not good. We have to forget about these two losses and focus on the Final Six. We had six great matches and in sport it is normal that motivation can go down sometimes.”
