According to the former Polish national team member, there is a chance for signing a contract. Murek explained for sportowefakty.pl how he arrived in Bydgoszcz.
„In fact, I was also surprised that I came to Transfer. One day I called and asked if there was the opportunity to train with the team, because, as we know, Częstochowa and Bydgoszcz are fellow clubs. In fact, as I have already informed you, I wanted to finish my adventure in volleyball, but not in such a way it was in the last year in Częstochowa. Therefore, I’m even more glad that I was given the chance, because I would like to finish my career in the normal way, to leave the pitch as God commands and say goodbye in the normal way with the fans. Who knows, maybe I’m not finished and the future is ahead of me. Maybe a year or two more. My age indicate that I’m older player, but in my heart I’m still a young player“.
The 38-year-old player also said which position is suitable for him at the moment.
„I have tried, above all, the libero position. In training I’m also playing this position.“
