The unusual situation occurred during the match of PlusLiga between AZS Częstochowa and PGE Skrą Bełchatów. In the finish of the first set, fire alarm rang and interrupted the clash.

An automatic alarm system detected the threat but it was established that two fire engines made an error. Still, the fans were evacuated.
Around 18:00, fans started to fill in the hall again and match will be resumed. In the moment of interruption, the result was 19-16 for Częstochowa.
