On the next FIVB Club’s World Championship there will be 8 participants – Sada Cruzeiro (host), Zenit Kazan (winner of the CEV Champions League), Al-Ahly Cairo (winner of the African Championship), Matin Varamin (winner of the Asian Championship), UPCN (winner of the South American Championship), Capitanes de Arecibo (NORCECA representative) and two teams which will receive wild cards.
Asseco Resovia confirmed that the club has applied for the wild card and Polish powerhouse got support from the Polish Volleyball Federation and from CEV!
Resovia had a very successful 2014/15 season as they won the national championship and finished as the vice-champions of the last Champions League edition.
