Trefl
Trefl played fourth consecutive match (two in the Polish league and two in the CEV Champions League) without the world champion Mateusz Mika.
The receiver/outside hitter is still recovering from knee injury and was watching today’s match from the stands. Mika was once again replaced in the starting line-up by Miłosz Hebda.
Effector also had to cope with the absence of a key player. The receiver/outside hitter Adrian Buchowski couldn’t play due to injury. Sławomir Stolc, who came last summer just from Trefl, took his place in Effector’s line-up.
American Murphy Troy was the best scorer in the winning team with 22 points. Sławomir Jungiewicz collected 21 in the visiting team.
