Resovia vs. Skra
This game could easily go into tie-break, although to be honest, Skra were better opponents than Polish champions in this semifinal clash played in packed „Orbita“ gymnasium, in Wrocław.
Finish of Set 4 was not for those with heart problems! Resovia were trailing 24-21, but made one more attempt to reverse the fate of the game. Bartosz Kurek (21 pts.) took responsibility at that moment and had three effective attacks in a row (24:24)! Even TO called by Skra’s coach Falasca couldn’t interrupt him.
But Facundo Conte (MVP, 23 points) returned lead on side of his team (25-24). In the next rally, the Argentinean completed the work and smashed it to assure Skra’s participation in the Polish Cup finals against Zaksa, on Sunday, February 7.
