Zaksa
It has started… Big games always carry a lot of tension with them, while the game between Zaksa and Asseco Resovia is definitely a big game. Therefore, Zaksa officials have sent two letters to the PlusLiga authorities in which they demanded a change of referees for the upcoming match!
Maciej Twardowski and Paweł Burkiewicz were chosen to be the official referees for the PlusLiga derby. Those are the same refs that were in charge of the Polish Cup finals in which Zaksa got defeated by Skra Belchatow. People from Zaksa were not happy with the refereeing in that game, so they wanted to avoid those refs in the big match against Asseco Resovia.
However, PlusLiga authorities turned down their request with the explanation that Maciej Twardowski and Paweł Burkiewicz are one of the best pairs of referees in the Europe.
