Resovia are fighting with PGE Skra Bełchatów for the second place in the standings and spot in the playoff finals. Since set-ratio is a key factor that determines the difference between the teams with same number of points, losing of every set can be fatal. Thus, Resovia’s fans were not satisfied with the result against Będzin.
“I will not comment on the reaction of fans after losing the second set. We won three points and that is most important. We do not look at the table and do not intend to make a tragedy of losing the set. We know that, this year, the league is highly unpredictable. Can Skra win nine consecutive sets in the last three matches of regular season and not lose a single one? I doubt it, but of course, they can try. We are doing our job, we took three points in the last few games and we have done the same thing in the previous duel,” summed Fabian Drzyzga, the setter of Resovia.
