Just before first TTO in the first set of the last round at the 2016 FIVB World League F6 versus USA, he called video challenge. Rezende was certain his players did not touch the net as umpire whistled, but technology failed at that moment. So, instead NO NET TOUCH, it showed Brazil’s coaching staff pressed BLOCK TOUCH.
And according to the rules, in these situations, referee cancels video challenge and remains by his call. Point went to the USA whose coach John Speraw confirmed Rezende was shouting no net touch.
Oh, how Rezende was furious, he even called referees stupid!
