When two volleyball superpowers meet, like Brazil and France did in the semifinal of the 2016 FIVB World League F6, tensions on court are inevitable. But, it’s always good when they end in a gentleman manner, especially in a humorous way.

France National Team head coach Laurent Tillie was asked at a press conference why was he jumping all over the court in the fourth set when his colleague Bernardo Rezende asked for video challenge, he said:

“We all have the right to ask for video challenge during a rally. Still, I think that Rezende asked it a little bit too late. But, it’s OK, we play chess with each other and so far he is much smarter. I still have a lot to learn.”
