Kurek scored 36 points at the match between Poland and Russia, however he was just a few points short of setting the new Olympic record…

We have already seen several new Olympic records in Rio 2016, while Bartosz Kurek was very close to break the one which is very special to all attackers… Polish superstar was very close to score the most points in a single game!

He stopped at 36 points in the match between Poland and Russia… That is just a 3 points short of the Olympic record which is “in possession” of Gyorgy Grozer. German player scored 39 points on one match at London 2012.

Still, we are very certain that winning a medal is much more important to Kurek than breaking any individual record.
