While analyzing his results, „SportoweFakty“ came to the conclusion that last season (2015/2016) was one of the worst seasons of Poland National Team in the past several years.
Compared with previous years, the effectiveness of Antiga as the Polish coach was the weakest in three years since he has been appointed to this position in 2014. In the first year under Antiga, Poland won 23 of 31 matches (74 %). A year later, they triumphed in 22 of the 31 matches (71%). Last season Poland won in only 17 games and lost 12 (58%). Therefore, it can be said that last season was the worst in the coaching career of the Frenchman.
The Polish Volleyball Federation will make the decision on the fate of a coaching duo Antiga-Blain in the next few weeks. The win-loss balance of Poland in 2016 is favorable but last season the world champions were able to win only one battle – to secure a spot in the 2016 Rio Olympics throughout additional qualifications in May. A war for the most important trophy, the Olympic medal, was lost. This practically reduces Antiga’s chances to remain Poland’s coach to the minimum.

When Poland won the World Championship was him on the team??? NOOOOO…ever since he came back Poland cant win anything..
Kurek cant play under pressure, when he plays under pressure is just mistakes after mistakes.
The number of points he scores is even with his mistakes…..it is not worth having a player like that, he will just make the team loose.
@fabio excuse me? Kurek was the one that the team relied the most during the World Cup and Olympics!
