Polish team Tauron MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza found a replacement for runaway Russian player Bessonnaya.

Earlier, Russian receiver Yuliya Bessonnaya unilaterally terminated merely signed contract with Dąbrowa Górnicza. After a week of searching the market, OrlenLiga team contracted another player from abroad.

A 33-year-old former US National Team member Regan Scott, also known under her maiden name Hood, came from Turkish side Sarıyer Belediyesi. She is a true volleyball globetrotter since she has been playing in Spain, The Netherlands, France, Azerbaijan, Puerto Rico, Romania and Turkey after starting her professional career in 2001.

In the jersey of the senior US National Team, Scott won the bronze medal at the 2011 Pan American Games and silver medal at the Pan American Cup, two years ago.
