Chemik Police
It was a difficult but important victory for Chemik Police’s girls, that remained perfect after this round. Katarzyna Zaroslinska led the team with 19 points, while Busa and Medrzyk added 13 points each. The sister of the Serbian star Tijana Boskovic, Dajana, was the top scorer in PTPS Pila with 14 points.
After two consecutive defeats, Impel Wroclaw had to play a tie-break to score the second win in the domestic league. Bielsko Biala had a 2-1 lead in sets, however, they didn’t manage to keep that advantage as the rival worked hard to win the fourth set (26-24) and to force the fifth set! In the tie-break, the girls from Wroclaw controlled the situation on the court to take the win 3-2 (30-28, 16-25, 13-25, 26-24, 15-12).
Two players, Julia Szczurowska and Tamara Galucha had 16 points each in Impel’s jerseys, while Katarzyna Konieczna had 25 in Bielsko Biala.
Polski Cukier Muszynianka Muszyna defeated Budowlani Torun in straight sets 3-0 (25-16, 25-16, 25-13). Mariya Karakasheva (15 points) and Maja Savic (14 points) were the top scorers for the home team.
