PGE Skra Bełchatów ended a four-year drought to become crowned Plus Liga titleholders.
After sweeping two-time defending champions and also top-seed Zaksa Kędzierzyn-Koźle in Game 1 of the best-of-two playoff finals, No.2 Skra started off Game 2 on the wrong foot but got a grip in the rest of the match – 15-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-23. Thus, Skra rounded up domination over Zaksa this season (3-1).
The Iranian Milad Ebadipour topped Skra with 17 points, including 4 aces. The Serbian Srećko Lisinac served 5 aces. The Belgian Sam Deroo scored 20 points (2 aces, 2 kill blocks) for the losing side, while Mateusz Bieniek recorded 80% attack (8/10).
