Wojcieska – who last year had played in Romania for Dinamo Romprest BUCURESTI – suffered a knee injury this past September while playing for Poland’s Supercup. She underwent surgery in early October to reconstruct her cruciate ligament and after two months of rehab she walks quite well and hopes to be able to help her side by next March.
“My rehabilitation is progressing pretty well; everything is fine and going according to plan. I have been attending every home match played by Atom Trefl SOPOT supporting the girls from the stands and sharing their emotions. I will do my best to be back for the Playoffs” she says.
Wojcieska’s rehab is being supervised by Doctor Aleksander Bielecki, who is also working as physiotherapist for Atom Trefl and for Poland’s men’s national team.
“I just started doing some specific drills and am working on my knee. I wish all this will be over as soon as possible and hope for the best” concludes the Polish middle blocker.
