Zaksa KEDZIERZYN-KOZLE
The most important game of the group stage of the European Cup are entering a decisive phase. Behind us are four meetings and in front of us two. These two matches, for ZAKSY decide whether the team Kędzierzyn-Koźle advance to the next round. Of the seven groups in playoffs the winner will qualify directly, as well as the top five teams from the second place.
Daniele Castellani charges began competing very good since 3-0 home defeat against Tours VB, and then win away, also in three sets against Crvene Zvezda Belgrade. Then came two defeats against the Italian Trentino and KEDZIERZYN–KOZLE situation is a little more complicated. Zaks has to win the second leg matches both the French and the Serbs, and it is best for the three points, and have to wait for the outcome in the other groups.
Thursday’s opponent, is by far the weakest team in the group. The Serbs lost all matches. Not only that they did not even won a set. ZAKSY performance in Belgrade was superior to rivals and won 3:0 (25:18, 25:15, 25:19). Now, the team leader of the PlusLiga, other decision as victory for the three points, it would be an unpleasant surprise.
