Dinamo Moscow achieved a double 3-point worth victory against Zenit-Kazan in just 3 days in the 2020/21 Russian Men’s Superliga Parimatch regular season, both on the road, clearly demonstrating the dominance over the most titled club in the country at the moment.

With the 10th successive win, of which 5 were in the league (this one in Round 18), the team commanded by Konstantin Bryanskiy took over third place in the charts from Zenit-Kazan. As for the giants from the Tatarstan region, they suffered the 6th defeat in the last 7 games. In the absence of their top scorer this season, Bulgarian Tsvetan Sokolov, the most prolific player of Dinamo Moscow today was Romanas Shkulyavichus (16 points).

The Zenit Saint Petersburg’s leadership didn’t last long. Kuzbass beat Neftyanik for the second time in 4 days (3-1) and squeezed Tuomas Sammelvuo’s team to second place in the table. Italian Ivan Zaytsev (16 points), Mikhail Shcherbakov (5 blocks), and Serbian Petar Krsmanović (75 % attack; 12/16, 1 error, blocked 1 time) stood out on the Kemerovo side.
