Russia’s Omichka OMSK REGION is one of the rookies who this year will debut in Europe’s elite club competition, the 2014 CEV DenizBank Volleyball Champions League. Omichka finished the last edition of the Russian league in third place thereby getting the right to represent their country – together with Dinamo KAZAN and Dinamo MOSCOW – in the competition whose start is set for next week. Omichka is the very first women’s Volleyball team from Siberia starring in the CEV Volleyball Champions League after their “neighbours” of Lokomotiv NOVOSIBIRSK won the men’s trophy last year.
