Cooperation

The goal of this agreement is to foster the development of Volleyball in these countries with Russia sharing their knowledge and expertise with Armenia where much support is needed to get Volleyball back on track after a long absence from the international scene. The agreement was signed by the Presidents of the Russian and Armenian Volleyball Federations, Stanislav Shevchenko and Karen Asmaryan, under the patronage of former Russian Volleyball Federation President, Nikolai Patrushev, who currently is the Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, and of his Armenian counterpart, Artur Baghdasaryan.

To celebrate the partnership between Russia’s and Armenia’s Volleyball families, 30 pine trees were planted at the “Volley Grad” sports complex.
