Omichka will now play Tyumen-TyuMGU in the best-of-three 1/4 final series which is set to start on April 20 in Tyumen before the return match follows on April 23 in Omsk.
“We only needed to take two points from our match with Dinamo to secure our second place in the standing,” comments Omichka head coach Zoran Terzić. “However, the team was very concentrated and performed really strong. They practically made no mistakes in attack. Also our block and service worked really well. This is definitely our best season in the Russian league. Now we are ready to take on the 1/4 finals, we are a strong team.”
