RUS W: Want to talk about loyalty? Goncharova commits herself to Dinamo Moscow for 17th consecutive season

The seven-time Russian women’s volleyball club champions Dinamo Moscow have concluded a new agreement with Nataliya Goncharova.

The captain of Dinamo Moscow and a big name in the Russian women’s volleyball Goncharova will continue defending the colors of the club from the country’s capital. The contract of the 33-year-old opposite hitter is designed for a year. For the five-time concecutive MVP of the Russian Superliga between 2015 and 2019 and Best Opposite Spiker of the the FIVB World Grand Prix in 2015, the upcoming season will be the 17th in Dinamo to which she came in 2006 from VK PNU-Ivano-Frankivsk, a club in her native country, Ukraine. What a loyalty! As part of the ‘white-and-blue’, Goncharova became a champion of Russia five times and a winner of the Russian Cup four times.

She has been wearing the jersey of the Russia National Team since 2010 after changing the sports nationality from Ukrainian to Russian, winning gold in the 2010 FIVB World Championship and two CEV European Championships (2013, 2015).
