“That format is unacceptable. It turned out that league part of the season was meaningless and that we didn’t gain any advantage as first placed team. Also, I am sad because fans won’t be able to see the most interesting and beautiful part of the championship – the playoffs. Finally, if Federation officials had chosen this option, then they should have placed the Final Six in Kazan” said Yakovlev.
