When the club has arrived in Yekaterinburg for the final tournament of Russian Championship, it was clear that Maxim Mikhailov won’t be able to help his teammates in decisive games.
“I have injured an ankle on training, but I hoped that I could still play. However, my leg continued to hurt for the next couple of days, and when we arrived in Yekaterinburg I couldn’t have walked normally. Then it was clear as a day that I would not play on the Final Six. It is awful when you watch the game and know that you can’t change anything” said Mikhailov.
