The Moscow side dominated at the net, registering 23 blocks in total. Anastasiia Manzhosova led the effort with 10 blocks, while Angelina Lazareva and Irina Kapustina added 6 and 5 respectively.

The home team took the opening set 25–19, even after losing Anastasiya Chernova to an early ankle injury. Krasnodar answered in the second, capitalizing on Moscow’s errors to win 25–22.

In the third set, Moscow regained control through strong defense and quick transitions, pulling ahead to take it 25–17. The fourth set turned into a thriller — Krasnodar led 24–21, but Moscow stayed composed, saving three set points and closing the match 27–25.

Head coach Rishat Gilyazutdinov commended his players for their persistence:

“It was a difficult match, but the team showed character. Our serve and block made the difference.”

Krasnodar’s coach Alexey Babeshin acknowledged the opponent’s strength:

“We played with ups and downs. Moscow’s block caused us a lot of trouble, especially when we lost control of simple plays.”
