Apalikov
After Aleksandr Volkov, who was a captain in the last season, Zenit Kazan has chosen Nikolay Apalikov for the new team leader.
It will be his eight season in Zenit’s jersey. Apalikov has made 321 matches for Zenit, and he is on the second place on the list of the players who recorded the most appearances for this Russian team.
The first place keeps Vladislav Babichev with 527 appearances.
