Vladislav Fadeev, General Manager of the Russian Volleyball Federation, stated that players from the Women’s National Team should improve their volleyball skills and made some strange comparisons along the way!
“These are probably hard words, but I want that our players sharpen their skills and work more on themselves. People are not coming to the circus to see jugglers dropping pins. They want to see the beautiful technique, and the same is in sport. When you watch football you want to see a ball sticks to the player’s leg, not bounces 10 meters from him. Quality of ball handling is crucial. It largely determines the quality of the game” stated Fadeev for Russian media.
