Yesterday, in one interview for the Russian media, former player of Zenit, Lloy Ball said that he would like to replace Anderson although he retired in 2012.
People didn’t understand his words, so vice-president of Zenit wanted to explain the current situation:
“I can say that Ball definitely will not play in Zenit. He just said that he would like but not that he will. After Anderson left the team, we registered Salparov for the domestic League as a second foreigner in the team. We have so many strong Russian players with the contracts, so some of them will play as opposite”
