Volleyball Club Ural has signed a one-year contract with one of the most valuble middle blockers in the Super League last year, 29-year-old, Andrey Aschev.

Prior to moving to Ufa, Aschev played for the team Spartak (Georgievsk), MSTU (Moscow), Dinamo (Moscow), Luch (Moscow), Fakel (New Urengoy) and Lokomotiv Novosibirsk.
As a part of Novosibirsk, Andrey Aschev won the Cup of Russia twice. Earlier, Ural has signed contracts with Brazilian Leandro Vissotto and Miguel Falasca.
