Guberniya’s victory is probably more significant considerinf that now they are back into zone that leads them into second phase – 7th in the standings with 30 points. It beat the last-placed Grozniy in straight sets, with partial 25-23, 26-24, 25-23.
On the other hand, Dinamo firmed the third spot on the table after it defeated the second worst team in Super League, Ural Ufa, also in three sets.
Denis Biryukov collected 15 and Ivan Zaytsev 12 points for the winning team.
Dinamo now has 51 point, five more than fourth-placed Lokomotiv Novosibirsk.
