Belgorod giant has overpowered Kuzbass on the road, despite Dmitriy Muserskiy spent the whole game at the substitution corner, while Georgy Grozer came in just for a few points! The first set was crucial. Home side had the set ball at 24:23, and a huge help from packed Hall in Kemerovo. However, Belgorod made a big comeback. After tying the score at 24:24, Kuzbass made a mistake, as its middle blocker spiked the ball out of bounds and gave the first set ball to the away team -25:24. Boys of Gennadiy Shiipulin used it immediately with a strong double block – 26:24.
It was like that opening set crushed all spirit in players of Kuzbass. They could not confront a powerful opponent anymore, and Belogorie took a very important straight sets win.
