Is there someone better? So far the answer is no! At least not in Russia. Zenit Kazan have won another trophy. They seized the Russian Cup!
After surviving that epic battle against Dinamo Moscow in the semifinals, Zenit Kazan faced Belogorie Belgorod in the battle for the trophy… This time there was no tie-break. The Kazan crew finished the game in just 3 sets and went home with a prestigious trophy in the bag. It is their 5th Cup trophy in club’s history!
The 3rd place game was much more interesting! Dinamo Moscow defeated Lokomotiv Novosibirsk after a tie-break. It is interesting to mention that this was the 4th tie-breaker for Dinamo Moscow in just 7 days, counting all competitions!!!
