Kuzbass, located in the middle of the standings, imposed huge fight to the team from capital city taking the first two sets and having 4-2 in tie-break. Yuriy Berezhko overbalanced for Dinamo in the fifth set scoring three consecutive points in the finish deciding the winner.
The most efficient player in winning team was Aleksandr Markin with 23. In Kuzbass, Maksim Zhigalov had 21.
Belogorie Belgorod had an easy job against tenth-placed Dinamo Krasnodar 3-0 (25-21, 25-15, 25-20) in the day of their jubilee. Today, Belogorie played 750th game in the Superliga since the 1992/1993 when becoming permanent member of the Russian top division.
