The opposite of Zenit Kazan and Russian national volleyball team Maxim Mikhailov was pretty much clear about possibility to leave Russian league.

Our championship is still strong, even though there are less volleyball stars. In a previous few years, the stars were not playing only in Zenit, Dinamo and Belogorie, but in many other teams – Dinamo Krasnodar, Lokomotiv, Ural…After their departures, of course these teams lost quality. When we talk about the offer from South Korea, I will tell you that I’m not interested. In Korea, or any other exotic leagues, you will be a star and you will get 60 balls in attack, but the level of competition and competitive spirit are not the same like, for example, in Russia. You have to develop your career, to play in Champions League, Russia…” says Mikhailov for sportbo.ru.
