Zenit Kazan are ruthless in the Russian Superliga by achieving 13th consecutive win (23rd in all official competitions) to maintain huge gap comparing to second placed Dinamo Moscow!

Russian title holders prevailed Yugra-Samotlor Nizhnevartovsk on road, but it was everything but an easy game for the favorites 3-1 (21-25, 25-15, 31-29, 25-19).

Home side showed amazing resistance and who knows how would game end if they managed to save 8-3 in Set 3!

Zenit was weakened by the absence of the coach Vladimir Alekno for unknown reasons, so far. But, last season, he used to skip road games of his team so this might be the case today. Instead of Alekno, his assistant Aleksandr Serebrennikov led the team.

Ural Ufa scored important win over Yenisei Krasnoyarsk and claim eight place in the standings which qualifies for the playoffs.
