As it was previously published, traces of meldonium were found in the doping sample A of Alexandr Markin. Couple of hours later, the General Secretary of the Russian Volleyball Federation Alexander Yaremenko confirmed this info for R-Sport and added that the player refused to give the doping sample B.
He also stated that Markin will have a hearing in front of the FIVB on April 19.
