Yugra – Dinamo
In the clash of the two Russian teams, Yugra took full revenge on Dinamo Moscow for defeat in the first leg (3-0). They achieved identical win at home in rematch and took Golden set as well 15-11.
Thus, wards of Rafael Khabibullin qualified for club’s first ever gold medal match in any of European Cups.
It was somehow logical that Dinamo would not be able to provide tough resistance since their two important players were missing due to their involvement in doping scandals in previous 10 days – Markin and Obmochaev.
Without these two, and also without Berezhko (for unknow reason yet), Italian Ivan Zaytsev stood out (16 points). As for Yugra, Konstantin Bakun was unstoppable with 29 points!
Yugra will play in the finals against the winners of BR Volleys – Roeselare clash.
